Awaab’s Law consultation sets out extension to private rented homes
The government is consulting on how to extend Awaab’s Law to private renters in England, with other accommodation also under consideration. The proposals would introduce legal deadlines for tackling dangerous housing conditions, but a commencement date has not been set.
