Mortgage rates: selected cuts follow rise in five-year average to 6%
Selected UK fixed mortgage rates have fallen, according to Moneyfactscompare.co.uk, after the average five-year rate reached 6% on 5 October. The comparison website says affordability pressures are still weighing on activity.
